Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) is a private, nonprofit corporation dedicated to supporting LSU and its Athletic Program. Louisiana State University has a proud athletic tradition, highlighted by 46 National Team Titles and 130 Southeastern Conference championships. LSU currently fields 19 men’s and women’s varsity sports teams. Thanks to the generosity of its members, TAF plays an integral role in continuing and sustaining LSU’s tradition of excellence. As the primary source of private funding for LSU athletics, TAF’s mission is clear: to lead the university in building a comprehensively superior athletic program.

Among TAF’s many accomplishments are over $400 million in construction and improvement of athletic facilities including over $260 million for college football’s greatest venue, Tiger Stadium. These improvements included the construction of the east side Tiger Den Suites and upper deck, the west side Stadium Club, upper deck and press box, and the south end zone Tiger Den Suites, Stadium Club and upper deck. Other TAF projects have included the University Club Golf Course and Practice Facility, Cox Academic Center for Student-Athletes, Mike the Tiger’s Habitat, and the Alex Box Baseball Stadium Suites. Future projects include the Athletic Nutrition Center and renovation of the Football Operations Building. TAF also continues its efforts to raise funds for its Foundation of Champions Endowment Program. TAF has also provided in excess of $2 million in academic scholarships and teaching awards.

TAF is continuing the legacy of LSU’s athletic excellence while supplying the resources for future Tiger championships.
