Louisiana State University’s Undergraduate and Graduate Catalog is a static document meant to reflect the requirements and programs in existence at the time of a student’s enrollment in the university. Below is a list of academic programs that have been created since the catalog’s initial online publication in March 2021.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ANALYTICS

This interdisciplinary program is designed to prepare students attending the LSU A&M campus and online to gather, analyze, document, and monitor data to help streamline business processes and improve business products. Graduates from this program will be well-positioned to begin careers as data scientists, market research analysts, business analysts, and various functional areas in business, which are in high demand by employers. 

UNDERGRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

This online program was developed to prepare graduating high school seniors, skilled craftsman, military, or those without a bachelor’s degree that would to enter the fast growing field of construction management.  Graduates from this program will quickly be prepared for entry level careers with the fundamental knowledge and skills that can be applied to the business side of construction.

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN ESTATE PLANNING & TAXATION

The Graduate Certificate in Estate Planning and Taxation allows the Law Center to officially recognize students who have demonstrated substantial competence in the study of wills, trusts, estates, taxation, and related subject matter. It helps prepare participating students for careers in estate planning and taxation by ensuring that they take the appropriate coursework and providing exposure to applied learning experiences. It also helps prepare students who decide to pursue an advanced degree (LL.M.) in taxation or a similar field following graduation from LSU. Students who satisfy the requirements for both the Estate Planning and Taxation Certificate and the D.C.L. may earn both credentials at graduation.
