Design of biological reactor systems for treatment of agricultural wastes; utilizing and developing kinetic models for suspended and attached-growth cultures; characterization of agricultural wastes and wastewaters; consideration of nutrient recovery, pathogen survival, odor reduction and by-product recovery goals.
