Credit will not be given for both this course and ISDS 2010 . Statistical description and inference; descriptive statistics, sampling, basic probability theory; probability distributions, including normal and binomial; sampling distributions; inferential statistics including estimation, one- and two-sample hypothesis tests for means and chi-square test of independence.
