PETE 4045 Drilling Engineering (3) Prereq.: PETE 4060 , CE 2200 and credit or registration in CE 3400 . Registration in this course is restricted to students admitted to both the College of Engineering and the Petroleum Engineering major. Drilling process, including equipment and performance; well pressure control and buoyancy; rheology, circulation pressure and optimum hydraulics of drilling fluids; oil well casing design and cementing techniques.
