ATRN 4400 Clinical Diagnosis and Intervention Strategies for Psychosocial Conditions (3) Prereq.: ATRN 3201 and credit or registraion in ATRN 4200 . Athletic Training majors only. Athletic Training majors must have earned a grade of “B” or better in ATRN 3201 and received a favorable program progression evaluation to enroll in this course. Credit will not given for this course and KIN 4520 . Clinical diagnosis, management, and appropriate psychosocial intervention strategies and patient referral techniques specific to the role of an athletic trainer within the broader context of primary care medicine. Classification of various psychosocial conditions and the multi-axial approach to patient assessment across the lifespan.
