LAW 5338 - Theater Law

This course will cover an overview and history of theater law and issues affecting the parties involved; playwrights, rights holders, directors, cast, designers, musicians, crew, and audiences. It will also address other issues such as the interactions of parties and the media and funding issues, with regard to initial production, touring companies and not-for-profit productions. Evaluation and final grade based on two exercises and final exam.
