LAW 5452 - Comparative Labor Law Credit(s): 2 The course will describe prominent characteristics and trends in labor and employment law and industrial relations in industrialized market economics. The labor and employment regimes of the United States, European countries and the European Union, and Japan will be emphasized. The course also will consider the International Labor Organization and its role in shaping labor law. The course will consider basic rights, collective labor relations and individual employment rights.
