Prereq.: BIOL 1202 and CE 2450 . Establish fundamentals in cancer biology and an understanding for the use of engineered biomaterials in cancer research. Basic principles of cancer to understand the interactions of cells with engineered biomaterials employed for therapy, cell culture, and 3D tumor models with focus on engineering principles, and design concepts.
