Louisiana Civil Code provisions and statutes relating to lending and finance, including: suretyship, mortgages, pledge, privileges, and the Louisiana Private Works, Act; foreclosure on real security and the Deficiency Judgment Act; and creditors’ rights and debtors’ defenses related to these issues.
