2 hrs. lecture; 3 hrs. lab. Introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), and Oxy-fuel welding/cutting. Emphasis on the theoretical foundation of welding, safety, skill development, and management of facilities, materials, and equipment.
