LAW 5411 - Introduction to Environmental Law Credit(s): 3 Using one or more federal or state statutes, this course provides an overview of various techniques used in legal regulations of environmental problems. It will also cover alternatives to command and control regulations and selected problems of judicial enforcement. As time permits, the instructor will also address other aspects of environmental law including the role of private law remedies, basic principles of constitutional and administrative law, and the special problems that arise when governmental entities are responsible for pollution.
