An examination of the individual rights guaranteed by the 14th Amendment’s privileges or immunities, equal protection, and due process clauses. Other topics may include: the 2nd Amendment; the 13th Amendment; the 15th Amendment; the impact of the 14th Amendment on the relations between the states and the national government; the requirement of state action; and due process rights under the Louisiana Constitution.
