LAW 5014 - Legal Methods II Credit(s): 1 Students will learn how to self-assess and develop essential legal skills including critical reading, legal analysis, logical reasoning, and professional identity formation. These are the skills needed to excel in law school, pass the bar exam, and succeed in the practice of law. Students will learn how to prepare for class and study for exams. Students will train in time management, preparedness, responsible conduct, professionalism, and self-directed learning. Student analysis will be monitored and critiqued on a frequent and regular basis. Clarity of written and oral communication will be emphasized. Students are required to complete a series of formative assessments and one-on-one meetings with instructor in the spring semester to receive credit. Credit will be awarded at the conclusion of the spring semester. Pass/Fail
