The Pre-Physical Therapy program is an enrollment option available to incoming Freshmen students who are interested in preparing for a Physical Therapy graduate program, but have not decided on which undergraduate degree program they will complete.
Students in this program can work with University College to schedule courses that will apply towards Physical Therapy programs offered at the LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and Shreveport, as well as undergraduate majors that align with the prerequisite requirements of these degree programs. Students are required to declare an undergraduate degree program by the end of their second semester, but may continue to receive advising services regarding these Physical Therapy programs from University College.
