BE 4338 Applied Synthetic Biology (3)

Prereq.: BIOL 1202 , BIOL 2051 , BIOL 2083 , CHEM 2261 , and BE 1252 . Emerging principles that seek to make biological systems easy to engineer, and how such methods may be used to investigate, analyze, and understand natural and engineered biological systems. A broad range of approaches will be used in analyzing contemporary scientific and engineering challenges and opportunities, drawing heavily upon primary scientific literature of engineered biological systems.
