CHEM 3490 Elementary Physical Chemistry (3)

Prereq.: CHEM 1202 or CHEM 1422 , and PHYS 2002 . Credit will not be given for both this course and either CHEM 3491 or CHEM 3492 . A one semester non-calculus based introduction to essential topics in physical chemistry, such as quantum mechanics, molecular spectroscopy, thermodynamics, kinetics, as well as phase and chemical equilibria.
