KIN 4604 Introduction to Epidemiology (3)


This course covers the application of epidemiologic methods and procedures to the study of the distribution and determinants of health and diseases, morbidity, injuries, disability, and mortality in populations. Topics include quantitative aspects of epidemiology such as data sources, measures of morbidity and mortality, evaluation of association and causality, study design, and screening for disease. Other topics include qualitative aspects of social determinants of health.
