CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

SEMESTER 1: MATH 1022  or MATH 1023  
SEMESTER 2: “C” or better in MATH 1550 ;  
SEMESTER 3: ”C” or better in PHYS 2110 GEOL 1001 ,
SEMESTER 4: “C” or better in PETE 2031  and “C” or better in CE 2450  
SEMESTER 5: CE 2200  

MATH 1550 , MATH 1552 , PHYS 2110 , PHYS 2113 , PETE 2031 , and CE 2450  each require a grade of “C” or better before a student may register for any 3000 level petroleum engineering course. PHYS 2112  requires a “C” or better for completion of the major.

Registration for 3000 and 4000 level petroleum engineering courses is only available to students admitted to the department.

2 - Choose one of the following courses: EE 2950 CE 2460 , ME 3133  or one of the following PETE 4083 PETE 4084 PETE 4085 PETE 4086 PETE 4087 PETE 4088 PETE 4089 PETE 4090 PETE 4241 

3 - Students must take PETE 4046  and PETE 4056 . In addition, students must take one additional course (if they select a PETE course for their Technical Elective) from the following courses: PETE 4083 PETE 4084 PETE 4085 PETE 4086 PETE 4087 PETE 4088 PETE 4089 PETE 4090 PETE 4241
