CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS SEMESTER 1: “C” or better in ENGL 1001 .
SEMESTER 2: MATH 1021 .
SEMESTER 3: “C” or better in SOCL 2001 (SOCL 2002 ); First Course in Foreign Language Sequence; Admission to the College.
SEMESTER 4: “C” or better in SOCL 2201 ; Second Course in Foreign Language Sequence.
SEMESTER 5: ENGL 2000 ; “C” or better in SOCL 2211 .
A grade of “C” or higher must be earned in SOCL 2001 , SOCL 2201 , SOCL 2211 , and SOCL 3101 . Sociology majors are strongly advised to schedule all College of Humanities & Social Sciences and departmental lower-level requirements in their first two years. Total Semester Hours: 17-16

Criminology
Criminology is the study of the nature and causes of crime, patterns of crime, and the social control of criminal behavior. CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS SEMESTER 1: “C” or better in ENGL 1001 .
