Petroleum Engineering
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS
SEMESTER 1: MATH 1021 .
SEMESTER 2: MATH 1022 or MATH 1023
SEMESTER 3: GEOL 1001 .
SEMESTER 4: “C” or better in MATH 1550
SEMESTER 5: “C” or better in PHYS 1100 .
MATH 1550 , MATH 1552 , and PHYS 2101 , PHYS 2102 and PETE 2031 each require a grade of “C” or better before a student may register for any 3000 level petroleum engineering course.
A student may elect to take four semester hours of ROTC in place of PETE 1010 and PETE 2060 . The four semester hours of ROTC must be successfully completed before any substitution will be made.
Registration for 3000 and 4000 level petroleum engineering courses is only available to students admitted to the department.
