Public Affairs Minor

The Public Affairs Minor prepares students to pursue careers in leadership of public, non-profit, and private organizations and in public policy and government affairs. The minor is open to all LSU undergraduate students.

To receive a minor in public affairs, students must take 18 hours in any combination of the following:

PADM 3000 Democracy and Public Administration (3)  
PADM 3010 Policy Entrepreneurs and Policy Processes (3)  
PADM 3020 Funding Government: Revenue, Taxation, and Public Policy (3)  
PADM 3030 Employees in Public and Nonprofit Organizations (3)  
PADM 4010 Analyzing Public Policy (3)  
PADM 4030 Managing for Public and Social Impact (3)  

POLI, ECON, MGMT or other public affairs elective approved by faculty advisor in Department of Public Administration
