EXAM:
Students in the Global History minor need to take a general examination. This will be an oral exam related to global history that will focus on three questions: (a) In the courses that you have done for the minor, what do you think are the most important methodological interventions if we take a global or a transnational approach to history? (b) In what ways does the global framework offer a new or a different perspective to your doctoral research questions? (c) How do you plan to incorporate these insights into your teaching and pedagogy? The exam takes place before a 2-person committee from the Global History faculty.
