Prereq.: CHE 7140  or equivalent. Gas-phase reactions and modern approach to deduction of reaction mechanism; collision, transition state, RRK and RRKM theories, bond energy correlations, kinetics of complex reaction systems, fast reactions, computer modeling and sensitivity analysis.
