ISDS 4000 Introduction to Statistical Theory (3)

Prereq.: proficiency in basic statistical methods and MATH 1552  or consent of instructor. Concepts of probability distribution and statistical inference; theoretical foundations for estimating and testing hypotheses about means, proportions and variances; chi-square and F tests.
