MC 4211 Mass Media Principles (3)

An honors course, MC 4212 , is also available. Prereq.: consent of the Manship School of Mass Communication; Open to LSU undergraduates who qualify for entry into the University’s Accelerated Master’s Degree Program. Required of all students who enter the mass communication graduate program without a degree or professional experience in mass communication. May not be counted for undergraduate or graduate degree credit by Mass Communication majors. Credit will not be given for this course and MC 4212 . An intensive course that provides an overview of the role of the mass media within society.
