Also offered as HORT 7070 . Prereq.: AGRO 4064  and EXST 7014  or equivalent. 3 hrs. lecture; 2 hrs. lab. Advanced methods of plant breeding; emphasis on breeding for insect, pathogen and abiotic stress resistance; breeding strategies and theory; resource allocation and evaluation of breeding methodologies.
