CONE 1112 Construction Engineering Materials and Methods (3)

Credit will not be given for this course and FESA 2117 . A comprehensive understanding of the principal materials and methods used in building construction emphasizing common construction systems such as masonry bearing walls, steel frames, reinforced concrete and asphalt. Included are construction methods, materials, and sustainability in commercial, industrial and highway applications. Additionally, students will be introduced to plan reading, quantity take-off techniques, and specialty software for quantity take-off.
