CURRICULUM:
The curriculum in human resource education is offered with an area of concentration in human resource leadership and development. Master’s and doctoral programs also are available. The School of Human Resource Education & Workforce Development is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and is a member of the University Council for Workforce and Human Resource Education, a national consortium of leading research universities.
Admission into the School of Human Resource Education & Workforce Development for the Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Education
Students are eligible for admission to the school in accordance with admission and retention requirements prescribed by the College of Human Sciences and Education.
Students wishing to enter the School of Human Resource Education & Workforce Development Bachelor of Science degree program in Human Resource Education must satisfy the following minimum requirements:
- 24 earned semester hours with a 2.2 cumulative and LSU GPA;
- English proficiency – advanced placement in credit for, or grade of “C” or better in ENGL 1001 (ENGL 1004 );
- General Education Math proficiency – advanced placement in credit for, or grade of “C” or better in MATH 1021 or higher
