Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology, Ph.D.

LSU offers the PhD in Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology with opportunities for concentration in plant pathology or crop physiology. The PhD program in plant pathology requires a minimum of 56-57 credit hours of coursework and research credits, while the program in crop physiology requires 55 credit hours. The PhD program in each area of concentration also requires a qualifying examination, general examination, and final defense of the dissertation.
